Painting Department Students Come Together for Orientation Program
The Painting Department of Balıkesir University’s Faculty of Fine Arts organized an orientation program for newly enrolled students.
The program began with students meeting the department’s faculty members. Associate Professor Altay Aldoğan then gave an orientation presentation covering the department’s curriculum, studio work, how courses are conducted, and the facilities available at the faculty. Students’ questions about academic and administrative procedures were also answered.
As part of an activity to help them get to know one another, the students played board games and games designed to test reasoning, attention, and memory. The program continued with a visit to the university library, where students attended a presentation on how the library operates.
