Our Department Head, Prof. Dr. Duygu Sabancılar Iştın, Visited Sofia as a Guest of Lesedra Gallery.

Our Painting Department students’ works were featured in the exhibition “16th Painting & Mixed Media Competition 2025–2026.” As part of this event, our department head Prof. Dr. Duygu Sabancılar Iştın visited Sofia as a guest of Lesedra Gallery.

During the visit, our department head attended the exhibition in person and examined the works of our students that were exhibited on an international platform. She also met with academics from Sofia University, holding discussions on art education, studio-based production, and potential academic collaborations.

The inclusion of our students’ works in an international exhibition and the new academic connections established through this event are extremely valuable for our department. We congratulate our students Ece Tıraş, Çağatay Şen, Müjde Sayın, Muhammed Emin Tural, Saliha Nartekin, Serdar Gürleyen, Songül Okdemir, Sena Öz, and Şehrinur Kurban, whose works were selected for this exhibition.
